Brenda Francis, received her CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) Designation in 2001. A CCIM is a recognized expert in the disciplines of commercial and investment real estate. There are approximately 125,000 Commercial Real Estate Professionals in America but less than 4% have earned the PH.D in commercial investment real estate to become a CCIM, the Best in the Business. A very small percentage of those are women. Brenda was first licensed as a real estate professional in Alabama in 1977. She is a native Tallahassean and returned to Tallahassee in 1987 and immediately obtained her sales associate’s license and subsequently, her broker’s license. She has experience in residential and commercial sales and development. She started Broker Group Realty in January 2004, specializing in general commercial real estate and later expanded her firm to include residential sales as well. Brenda is the 2007 FL-CCIM Panhandle Vice President and 2008 President Elect. She served as President of the local Commercial Council for 1998 and 1999 and was voted Commercial Realtor of the Year for two years in a row (1997 and 1998) by her peers for her dedication and commitment to the commercial brokerage business in Tallahassee. She has served as a Director on the Tallahassee Board of Realtors and was instrumental in implementing internet advertising by the local commercial realtors, when the internet became the mode of communication among professionals.
